hmm commission of a basset hound I gotta work on… it needs to be realistic and I just hope I don't epic fail at it. XD
I haven't drawn one in a very long time.
So today was ok… this morning I was kinda annoyed cause I was literally pulled out of my bed to go on an early morning walk around the park with my parents. I HATE being woke up and I HATE being pulled out of bed. XD I'm crabby in the morning when someone does that to me. Anyways we went to Panera for breakfast and then walked about for a while. It was ok I guess. Then I came home did the usual, sit in front of my computer and work on crap, then later went out for a walk and then went to go watch the fireworks display…got some ice cream at B&R which I haven't had in ages. It was nice. I enjoyed it. My parents were so crabby though, my dad didn't want to go out and was kind of protesting with the tone of his voice and like how unenthusiastic he was about it all and my mom was getting mad because of that so they got a bit snippy. XD One reason I hate going on car rides with them. lmao
Anywho while I was waiting for the fireworks to start I felt something hit my leg. At first I just thought it was the cord to my ipod so I didn't think much of it until I felt it just sit there and then I thought maybe it was just my shorts against my leg. I look down and no it's this huge ass bug all like 8D human flesh om nom nom. So I did the awkward “there's a bug on me” dance and it went away, but then it kept landing on my legs and I was like RAWR get away. It was dark so I could only see it when it landed on me. XD
It was funny too car alarms kept going off randomly as the fireworks were being shot off. The display wasn't too bad. The first “official” one I've seen in the last like four years. XD
Been a bit bummed about a few things which, meh I don't feel like going into now, just cause. Maybe later.
Animated Short
Published July 1, 2008 | For the last 6 months I’ve been working on an animated short through the Animation Mentor program. Which I’ve successfully completed this June. Yay! I was able to animate all but one shot in my film in that time, however many of the shots still need to be cleaned up or the backgrounds touched up so I haven’t released it yet and am tweaking it a lot.
So until I can actually get the rest of my animated short cleaned up and ready to release I figured I’d post a small shot from it here. Yeah it’s nothing much but it gives just a taste of what the animation will look like for it.
I’ve got some new art uploaded as well so you can check that out if bored. So I got a sorta new layout up…however it’s not working at all how I would like so it’s not gonna stick around for long but at least it’s better than a pre-made. I figured I’d get some actual content back up and running on this site since it’s been so bare and boring the last few months and then fuss with a better layout.
Also! Pluggage to my awesome mentors that I had throughout the 18 month course I took!

It was an honor to be able to work with and be taught by these guys. Their work is inspiring, and I’ve learned so much in the last year and a half.
