It’s already June! No way. In less than a month it’ll be Micha and I’s 3rd wedding anniversary. It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, yet at the same time it feels like we’ve always been together too. I dunno. XD Weird to explain! My dad’s supposed to be flying up for a visit, so that’ll be awesome. Although he leaves on our anniversary, the 4th, at least we can celebrate it together. It’s been almost a year now since we last saw either of my parents, so it’ll be nice. I wish my mom could come with, but it wasn’t possible this round… maybe in September. Though it’d be even more awesome if I could move closer to them. I’d like that even more.
In other news! We found a little bird that couldn’t fly last week, figured he mighta flown into a window. I named him Bobby. X3 He was a little Pine Siskin, was pretty impressed at how calm he was around us. We found him just in time too cause a huge storm blew through that night and he would have been trapped on the ground through it. We got 2 inches of rain! He was doing really well, eating and drinking. We took him out the following day to see if he could try to fly, he just couldn’t, but he hopped around the garden a bit picking at the dirt and climbed up my hubby’s arm.
My cat was super curious about him and kept wanting to poke at the carrier we made as a makeshift house for him. I had to keep the spray bottle close by. I sat it on top of the kennel. He saw it, so he stayed a good 5 feet from it the whole time. Bobby made it through another night but sadly the following day he died. We thought he was going to make it since he seemed to be doing so well but something must have been wrong internally. We buried him and gave him a flower.
Other updates, been busy busy busy with art. Can’t say I been busy with much else though. I’ve posted quite a few new drawings since I last posted an update. I’m also working on redoing thegreykitty.net. Yeah it’s only been like a year since I’ve done anything with it… lol
We did go see the Avengers last month… I’d been waiting for forever for it and I was not disappointed.
If I could I would totally go see it again. It was just awesome. If you haven’t seen it…DO IT NOW! XD
I been listening to a ton of podcasts while I work and when I chill with my ipod. One of the latest I’ve listened to is something by Andrew Wommack. I love his view on things and if you’d like to check it out, this series was called “As I Have Loved You” and deals with God’s love for people and how religion and rules have distorted it.
Well that’s all for this entry. Thanks for reading!
