Obnoxious

People are really bloody obnoxious. Seriously. It’s a reason I stop posting updates about my computer problems or whatever else that might delay my commissions because rather than trying to help me half the time they just rub it in my face that their computers are better. Or assume I’m stupid and know nothing about my system. They also like to stop and make sure I know how MAC is so much SUPERIOR to PC when that’s utter bull crap. BOTH computers have their own issues and YES this goes for you TOO LINUX people. Your computers are not God and they will eventually have issues just like all computers eventually do.

Stop trying to be better than everyone else and brag about your “amazing” machines because eventually you’re gonna be kicked off that ladder of yours. No OS or computer is better than the other in my opinion. I have used all three of those operating systems and they all have their positives AND their negatives. I have a preference for PCs because I can customize the hardware how I would like and I don’t have to take it to a specific store to get replacement pieces. Same goes for the OS if I really felt like using Linux I could, it just won’t run the programs I want unless I use emulators. That is a pain. Mac is more specific, it usually runs pretty stable but again runs less programs than windows and the OS once it’s outdated refuses to load a lotta the newer programs that ARE made for mac and forces you to buy a new OS. I find that ridiculous. Yes they are pretty stable and can last a long time but I just find that it’s not as flexible as a PC and WAY overpriced, a huge draw back. I got a custom PC that is five times more powerful than my husbands Mac for 30% less than what he paid for his computer and my PC is still working fine They aren’t that much different in age either. Maybe by a few months. That’s pretty ridiculous.

I could go on and on about this but I’ll leave it at that. Also make note I do realize newer macs you can put windows on them and etc but that’s a huge hassle just to play games and such I would rather just double boot my pc with Linux and Windows. Linux is light and fast to install and windows for the games and my art programs. In fact my laptop has that a small linux quick boot for just internet applications. It’s pretty cool. Anyways, enough of that. I’ll hopefully get my PC issue figured out; I’m building up the mobo and such my friend sent me and the bios were woop out the window so I’m getting a new one to pop in there and hope it’ll behave. AND I will eventually get the grinding fan of doom in my laptop fixed but maybe after I get paid. >_>
Oh yea and I saw two new movies so I’ll be typing out a review for those in the next couple days. How to Train Your Dragon and From Paris With Love. :D

What is an annoying thing people get all high and mighty about towards you? Video game consoles, cars, clothes…etc Post em! :)

Cute Cat is Cute

Since I really don’t have a whole lot to blog about or update on I decided to share this kitty:

Awesome cat. My laptop fan is grinding and in general being a pita so I haven’t used it in a bout a week now. I will take it to get fixed soon. I had a mobo lying around with some other parts so I’ve managed to put a barebones PC together, I just need to put an operating system on it now and then I should be able to take off. Having no computer of my own has really killed my motivation to work on anything digital. XD

Updates of St. Patty’s Day

Yeah I’m using a new skin, I like it a lot and I haven’t had time to code a new layout. Sadly the one I was working on isn’t working the way I had hoped so I’ve scrapped it and will keep to this pre-made for a while. I might try to get something “original” coded up eventually but not until I’ve got my current commission list whittled down more. So I been watching a lotta movies and I’ll share my thoughts on a couple. My forum crashed on me and I just don’t have the time nor motivation to fix it so I’m deleting it. I tried to bring it back to life but it’s just not really working. Thanks to the few who did keep it alive for a while, was fun while it lasted.

My friend recommended this film to me saying it was like the Omen with a twist. Yup it was. It was a really twisted movie, I was totally expecting some kind of Antichrist child too, but it was a surprise ending which I will not spoil it. The characters weren’t too bad, I actually didn’t find the children in this movie obnoxious for once. *gasp* So if you like mystery/horror type movies maybe check it out for a rental, not one I’d buy but I think tis worth at least one watch.

Paranormal Activity is the other movie I watched recently, I was laughing at it the whole way through. One of the least frightening “horror” movies I’ve ever wasted my time on. Again one that was recommended to me but it was boring. It was filmed to make it look “real” and by a couple that was “ghost hunting” kinda. hurr hurr The end just slayed me. This “spirit” possesses this guys’ girlfriend cause it’s like jealous of him or something and throws him across the room and kills him and then it makes his gf’s face turn all evil and smile before it pounces at the camera. Baaah the whole thing was just filled with cheese. I guess it mighta been scary in theaters but home viewing is boring and lame.

So that’s about it, I been keeping busy with drawing soooo much stuff. I been posting them regularly in my gallery here. I also posted up a new line art for coloring so check that out in the “goodies” section. I have a lotta new guest art, but my gallery won’t let me log in so I’ll be working on figuring out what’s wrong with that…. anyways, that’s all for now folks!
