I voted over a week ago via absentee ballot, gosh I love those, but I hope everyone that’s able gets out to the polls and votes! Regardless of who wins! Although this is a huge election I’ll be so glad when all of it is over. The ads, the bashing, the slander, the propaganda it’s overwhelming! It gets worse with every year that goes by. I think it’s so sad when I browse the web and see how many people bash on others simply for their opinion or belief; it doesn’t surprise me at all though. It just is sad. This country is so divided and the horrible ads they run on tv only encourage it. Honestly I would more likely vote for someone who doesn’t send out attack ads, a candidate that respects both sides and rejects ads made by people who do put out slanderous and hateful ads. I’m not for one party or the other, I vote as an Independent because I don’t really support either group. I rather look at the person than at the party. But either way! I’ve made my vote, we’ll see how this all pans out.

In other news, I saw Wreck-it Ralph the other day and I looooved it. I didn’t think it’d be as good as it is. xD I loved the style, the story was interesting, the animation was great and I could actually feel attached to the characters. Which lately, in movie at least, hasn’t happened for me in a while. They did a good job building everything up and giving the characters back story. It was also a pretty long animated film, almost 2 hours, which surprised me. It didn’t feel that long, the pacing was good, and if it did get to a slow spot it picked up pretty quickly. I have hope for Disney 3D animation after this film and Tangled. All the others prior were just kind of so-so, well Bolt was alright, but not quite as good as these last two. I’m not counting in Pixar, I’m just talking about 3D that Disney has gone solo on. These last couple films were a HUGE step up from Chicken Little and the Robinsons. It was nice to see something that wasn’t all gags and fart jokes, but an animation that had an actual story behind it and characters with depth. So yeah! If you are undecided to go see it, I really liked it, I’ll be buying it on Blu-Ray when it’s out. Give it a go! Do you need to see it in 3D? Probably not, I didn’t and I didn’t feel like I missed out on much. Oh and the short film at the beginning was really neat, I loved it. :3
